By registering for, accessing, or using Carenova, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Carenova is a platform that connects families seeking caregiving services with verified healthcare professionals, including babysitters, nurses, physiotherapists, and psychologists. We facilitate connections but are not a party to any agreements between users and providers.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate and current
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Service.

4. Provider Verification

All healthcare providers on our platform undergo manual verification, including ID and professional license review. However, Carenova does not guarantee the accuracy of information provided by users or the quality of services rendered. Users are responsible for their own due diligence when selecting and engaging with providers.

5. Booking and Payments

Currently, booking confirmations and payments are handled directly between families and providers. Carenova facilitates the connection but is not responsible for payment disputes, cancellations, or service quality issues. Future versions may include integrated payment processing.

6. Prohibited Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
• Transmit harmful, fraudulent, or misleading content
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Harass, abuse, or harm another person
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) without permission

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Carenova and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. CARENOVA DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Carenova does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or quality of any content or services provided through the platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CARENOVA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for accessing the Service during the twelve (12) months prior to the event giving rise to liability.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Carenova, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Lebanon, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lebanon.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Carenova regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
